Welcome to your beautiful bedroom in the forest.
Our one room units have one Queen size bed to comfortably sleep two guests.
Enjoy the tranquility of our 10 acre property while lounging on the chairs on your deck or enjoy a snack at your picnic table.
We provide electricity to each unit for your phones and laptops (sorry no large items), and wi-fi, fresh drinking water, a wash bowl, soap, face cloths and towels are also provided for you. Our cozy linens will keep you nice and warm.
Our facilities also include a shared BBQ, washrooms, a newly updated shower house, and propane fire pits (propane available at additional charge).
We provide a continental breakfast for all of our glamping guests. Breakfast and coffee is served in the gazebo on our pond.
Situated at the back of the vineyard near our pond in a well treed forest , these glamping units make a beautiful setting to come home to after a day at one of Hornby’s gorgeous beaches or an afternoon out on the trails.
Our tasting room is open daily for wine tastings, and you are welcomed to enjoy a bottle in our licensed picnic area. Check our Facebook for updates on Live Music Events

Upon arrival at the vineyard, please check in at the tasting room and one of our wonderful staff will be happy to assist you. Once checked in, you may park in the lot at the bottom of the driveway. The glamping tents are just steps away.
For cooking we provide a shared BBQ ,microwave and fridge. Please be sure to bring your own utensils. We also provide an area for dish washing. There’s also an option to cook over campfire, providing there aren’t any burn bans in effect.
Linens are provided, as well as bath towels. Please bring your own towels for the beach. Hornby’s own, Hornby Island Soap, is provided for showering and washing your hands. Please bring shampoo. There are three showers available for our glampers, all with hot water on demand and free of charge.
Our tasting room, wood fired oven and lounge are open 7 days a week, 11 am-8 pm during the months of June, July and August.
Terms and Conditions
The tents and all forest areas are Non-smoking. Any damage due to cigarette burns, including the exterior deck, buildings or property will be charged to the renters. This includes fumigation of the tents due to lingering smells of cigarette or cannabis smoke or pet odors. Pets are permitted by prior arrangement only.
If any unreasonable rowdiness or noise occurs that leads to repeated complaints by others, the renter(s) shall vacate the premises immediately upon the manager’s request and forfeit the balance of the prepaid rental.
Renter(s) agree to be responsible for, and reimburse Lerena Vineyard, in full, within 90 days, for any and all repairs for damage.
The maximum number of occupants using the tent premises shall not exceed the total number stated, including pets. Unregistered guests must check in with staff if asking for permission to use the facilities.
It is recommended that if the renter(s) have concerns about the drinking water on the property, then we recommend you supply your own drinking water. There is a water tank holder that will take an 18.9 Liter bottle of water. Renter(s) acknowledge that the tents are supplied with water delivered from a VIHA certified source.
The environmental envelope around the tents are rich, diverse and includes animals and insects that are sometimes undesirable to some people. These creatures are part of nature. Lerena Vineyard has taken every precaution to prevent unseemly visitors inside the tents. Therefore, Lerena Vineyard does not accept such irritations as grounds for cancellation of a rental and/or a refund of monies.
Lerena Vineyard have endeavored to ensure all information respecting the tents are current and accurate and that the tents are suitable for recreational use. The owners do not warrant or guarantee the quality of the tents as this is a subjective opinion, and the perspective renter has the right to inspect the tents prior to reserving them.
Renter(s) acknowledge that Lerena Vineyard accept no liability for loss, damage, death, illness, or injury suffered by the renter(s) and/or his/her guests, or pets as a result of using this rental. The Renter(s) acknowledges that the use of the property is entirely at the Renter(s) own risk. The Renter(s) shall indemnify and hold harmless Lerena Vineyard and company against and from any and all expenses, costs, damages, suits, actions or liabilities arising from any and all loss of or damage to personal property, injury, personal condition or death resulting from the use of the rental property, grounds, use. Lerena Vineyard carries insurance on dwelling and contents, not the property, valuables, or clothing of the Renter(s). It is the Renter(s) responsibility to insure against any unforeseen damage or loss of the Renter(s) own possessions.
Lerena Vineyard reserves the right to cancel this booking / “Agreement” at his own discretion.
Renter(s) will be responsible for taking all garbage and recycling to the dump on Hornby Island or off island.
Severability: If any provisions of this agreement are invalid, such provisions shall be considered separable and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Lerena Vineyard is not responsible for situations beyond their control that may, or may not, negatively affect the renter stay, such as weather conditions or utility outages, due to storms.
If the tents are struck by disaster, then all contracts will be null, and void and payments refunded.
If the Renter(s) wish to cancel the agreement, they must notify Lerena Vineyard in writing (email or text). Refunds will only be provided if cancelation is done before June 1st.
I / we agree that we will be responsible for all damages caused by any member of my party.
I agree that I will keep the occupied tent and all furniture, fixtures, chattels, fittings and effects in/or about the tent in the same state of repair and condition and as at the commencement of the occupation of the tent.
I / we agree to abide by all rental terms and conditions as stated.
I / We hereby acknowledge that I / We have read and understand all conditions of the above contract. I / We agree to the Term and Conditions outlined above and will be legally bound by said agreement.
